Drying and Calcination Process Of Desulfurization Gypsum

Application of desulfurize gypsum is mainly used as a cement retard after drying; or calcinated into β-type semi-hydrated gypsum, used to manufacture gypsum board, gypsum block, painted plaster.

Processing of building gypsum can be divided into direct and indirect method by different heating mode:

1, the direct method (one step of drying and Calcination)

One step of drying and Calcination of gypsum is a process equipment developed and designed by three drum drying technology whose heat and mass transfer efficiency is high. The process equipment can produce dry gypsum Dehydrat (used to cement retard), and also can produce semi-hydrated gypsum, air temperature of produce dry gypsum Dehydrat is only 120 鈩, can use low-temperature flue gas of thermal power plant.

2, the indirect method (two-step of drying and Calcination)

Two-step of Calcination and drying energy based on power plant’s energy conditions and environmental requirements, make the free water easier to prolapse and the crystallization water difficult to split processed in two devices to make it more reasonable, and also facilitate the product structure adjustment and quality control. The device can produce dry gypsum Dehydrat (used to cement retard), ultra-high-class β gypsum.
